Everyone is going crazy in this episode lol. Was really good to see Butcher's backstory a bit more, really puts it into focus. This show is so creative with all the stuff they do, all that cartoon stuff this episode in particular. I feel like after the character development of Soldier Boy this episode I think he was fully lying to Homelander and he wants him dead even more. That's also maybe why they had to take him down back then as they knew he would not allow it. Soldier Boy and Homelander are both the same insecure boys who want to appear strong, manly and popular above all else, and anyone who jeopardises that is in trouble. So my predicts are a massive fight in the final episode. The results? God knows. I dunno if they would dare kill one of the original cast but I could see it happening. Soldier Boy is the obvious one to kill but would be a shame to lose him so soon.

oh dear god with soldier boy being his father AND the fact that soldier boy used to mess around with Liberty/stormfront (created an orgy fest with her and she was hot so i'm sure they've had sex), what if homelander IS stormfront's son? She believed in a master race and genetic perfection so she would be a-ok with creating genetically perfect children with her perfect creation. It would keep the genes "pure" like ancient royals used to think. Emotional and actual incest don't seem off kilter for her and well....homelander did have a mommy kink! wow. When she realized that he wouldn't create that master race with her, she killed herself.

That was a big bomb to drop at the end of this week’s episode. Pretty much any hope of Soldier Boy wanting to kill Homelander now has decreased significantly I’d go even further and wager son is now more likely to kill father (which would bum me out, since I actually been starting to like Soldier Boy). I honestly wouldn’t mind if they killed off some of the B-Squad (the Deep or A-Train). I feel like both heroes don’t contribute much to the story and have been running (pun intended) on borrowed time. In other news, Butcher has gone from one of my favorite characters to being so unlikeable this season. I know this show won’t kill him off, but I wouldn’t be mad if it did 🤷🏻‍♂️

- I want to feel sympathy for OG Ashley but just can't. Jeez the casual racism from her: describing the film plot as A-Train being taught by a white coach (Tom Hanks) to be "more civilized." - So Cassandra was a tenured professor at Vassar, is that what she was saying? Wonder what she taught lol - Now that Pride month is over, the first British slang I learned just had to be "poof" 🫠 - Butcher suggesting that they get more Temp V to finish the job seemed a bit out of character after the flashbacks? I suspect that's not his true intention but we'll see... - Did not see that twist coming AT ALL 😮 Edit: Saw on Reddit that there is a very short post-credit scene! Not plot relevant though...

I was surprised that A-Train was even alive, felt like his story had kinda been finished up. They will need to create something new for him now really

Takeaways... 1) One of the strongest episodes of the series I think. Really filled in a lot of motivations and backstories such that I'm even more invested in the characters. 2) Frenchie is very sexy. 3) Seb is worried about being wiretapped in the sauna.
