Rapunzel has been painting suns on the walls of her tower that look exactly like the ones plastered all over the kingdom. Even on her mobile as a baby. That's why that scene was done the way it was. I love that scene so much!

This is in the very top tier of Disney for me (with maybe 3 or 4 alongside it). Fantastic Menken songs, great script (which owes very little to the original Rapunzel story), scary-realistic villainy, and some of the best voice acting ever -- especially Zachary Levi (Flynn) and Donna Murphy (Mother Gothel).
