I can already tell these kids are gonna get on my nerves this season, some of them are falling into their same bullllllsh*t. 😒 Cassie in particular is losing the sympathy I had for her last season. In the words of one iconic philosopher: “Ex-boyfriends are just off limits to friends. I mean, that’s just, like, the rules of feminism.”

Sorry for the offtopic, but I wanted to say I'm really curious as why Seb asked if anyone is from Portugal, my country, on an instagram story. I can't imagine what he could possibly react to that's related to Portugal and I don't know what else it could be.

Where do I even start with this episode? So much drama and so messy for everyone. Nate had his own opening again and after this episode I feel like I know him even less, he's just so scattered and random. Nate and Cassie and Nate and Maddy just seems so crazy. I honestly don't know what Maddy is doing still going for Nate with everything that has happened and everything she thinks about him. The thing with Maddy and the babysitting woman was weird, could be potential for grooming there I think. The Kat/Ethan stuff I dunno, seems like she just wants some dominant sex and she needs to ask for it. It seems a bit interesting that she has gone from wanting to be the dominant one to now feeling like she wants to be dominated. The nice guy/bad boy thing is an odd thing really, are many people actually ever happy long term with a bad boy? Kat's scene with all the random women was pretty funny though. I'm not sure how I feel about Elliot right now, I liked him to begin with but doing drugs with Rue like that doesn't seem a great thing to do. Rue I dunno she just seems selfish at the moment in general and she's probably gonna hit rock bottom soon when everyone starts finding out. I kinda like that Lexi still wanted Fez. I completely agree about the crime lifestyle, I would have perma-anxiety, not worth it ever for me. Seb wants drama guys!

I feel like possibly every character has fallen into the same bullshit they were trying to work on from last season 😂 I think Jules has survived the first couple episodes maybe but she's going to crack soon as well probably

I think it’s a pretty interesting route to give Rue kind of everything she wants at the beginning of the season, with Jules and drugs and her just generally not giving a f***. Nate is the worst but so dang interesting so we can’t throw the whole character away. I really thought it was intriguing seeing the flashes of Jules during his opening scene fantasizing over Cassie 👀 and notice he “loves her” but the whole montage is just her naked/them having sex. Plus the whole creating a family thing, SO not a route I would be excited for if Nate became in charge of parenting a child, yikes

i believe that like Maddy said, she doesn't think anything not toxic is going to satisfy her. it seems to be rooted deeply inside her, and i don't know where it could've come from apart from watching her parents fight every single day. maybe she saw the "love" they had for each other, and since then could only get into relationships where they show love by fighting constantly.

yeh it's definitely some unresolved issue from childhood but it's still odd that that would be a conscious decision. Usually it would be an unconscious attachment to toxic people that you force to make right and don't even necessarily think it's toxic. Even more so if still in that relationship. When broken up and Nate isn't hardcore going after her, it's very odd to me. It could also be that she just feels like Nate is a protective figure in so much as he will protect her from others, so that could weave into the same issues. There is a lot to unpack with all the characters really and we don't really know that much about them really to do anything but guess really 😂

the episodes are getting better and better this season imo!!! Fez is my favourite character and i was glad that Lexi has more screen time cause i was bummed she didn't have her own episode in the first season! can't wait for you to watch the next one is really good

I agree with you, Nate and Cal are awful people but it's so much fun to watch them on screen, they bring so much to the whole story of Euphoria! Plus, they're amazing actors! I can't wait for your reactions to the rest of the season (from episode 4 on it gets SO GOOD, you're not ready for the stuff that happens)!!!!!
