It’s one of the best PotC movies imo. This one’s probs my favorite because it opened up the whole series to all manner of nautical myths beyond cursed treasure. At Worlds End also holds a special place for me since it truly goes off the map. They were the epitome for me as a child about what deep mysteries the oceans held. I often day-dreamt about both the depths of the seas and stars.

Who knew Seb's love for Chris Evans ran that deep 😂 Also that was like you rallying us? by wanting more wood? ummmm 🤣🤣 Elizabeth had all the guys this film. If Sokka is a backbender does that make Elizabeth a swordbender? 😅 This is a fun film though. I actually don't know that I can pick between this one and the first one for which is better. I like things better about the first and better about the second. I'm actually not sure if I have seen past this film tbh so be interesting to see if I have 😂 Also love that this film ends with like a big lose really. As you say it's usually always the good guys winning every time so nice for a change of pace

The fight scenes in these movies are amazing, especially cos they use the environment so much, really brilliant! Might I suggest that you do the third PotC and then Twilight after, and then you can return to PotC 4+5 which honestly are pretty good movies as well! I also think maybe doing something else between 3 and 4 will make the transition to the 4th and 5th movie easier, instead of going straight from 3 to 4, cos there are distinct differences, in the stories as well as the cast, so yeah, that's my suggestion moving forward :)

- Burping is okay, it's very piratey! - Size does not matter. For commodores. - So, Seb, did you recognise ol' Bootstrap Bill's actor? It was Mr. Stellan Skarsgård, a.k.a. Dr. Selvig from Thor! - Pole Vault is the sport, I think. - Jack survived the fall because the bridges were breaking his fall. - It's not an actual flying Dutch-man. That would be weird. - Aaand bonus points to Seb for recognising Bill Nighy! He is a great squid-faced pirate, for sure. Or warlike Minister for Magic, or rock star growing too old and lonely at Christmas... whatever. - OK, Seb likes his Krakens big. Well, understandable. - Treadmills are always fun. And healthy, obviously. Good exercise. - I always felt bad for poor Kraky. Canonned, exploded, burnt, and then even Jack charges at him... (her?) - The webs of betrayal are sooo well done in this one. - Krakens and Barbosas and Monkeys... oh, my! - Yeah, actually I totally missed the post-credits in Black Pearl (even though I had it on DVD), and so did not understand Barbobsa appearing at the end of Dead Mens' Chest. I thought Tia Dalma must have brought him back, but could not get, if she can get back the dead, why didn't he resurrect Jack to start with?

Jack’s in the locker, Barbosa was ‘only’ dead. At least thats what I always figured was the difference.

That Barbosa appearance was mental back when this came out. I was twelve years old in this rinky-dink theater in the middle of nowhere in Vermont with my Dad and the whole town was there for the opening day. When he showed up people lost their minds. It was so cool. My first theater experience where people actually shouted and cheered and got into it like they do these days for the big MCU films. Definitely a permanent nostalgia classic bc of that. It's also one of those if you rewatch you notice little things (if you didn't already) like Barbosa's boots in the back room when they first come to Tia Dalma's hut in the swamp. And it was my first Stellan Skarsgard experience. I thought he killed it as Bootstrap. I found him, Davy Jones, and Tia Dalma to all be instant icons when they came on screen.... now I can't really see him as anyone but sweet Erik Selvig. Loving the rewatch with you!

Fun movie! Can’t wait to see your next reaction for the third film, I love it so much. First movie is good, second movie is great, and the third is epic! These movies are definitely nostalgic and I’m happy to see you enjoying them as much as we did when we were younger. 💕💕

Seb, did you noticed the actor that plays Bill Turner is the same in Thor, Dr. Selvig? --- I thought you'd recognize him. ♥ Ok, but back to the movie!!! I really love all the movies, I think this one and the next are the ones I love the most... But they're all great... thank youuuu for your reactions! ♥
