their jackets have always been cropped! it’s like that on everyone 🥳 Armin has always been ripped 💀 I believe it is safe to assume that all the scouts are ripped

The jackets fit Armin the same as before, he was just somehow missing the shirt underneath. And he is ripped. As you said, they did a great job at building suspense for the basement in this episode. The information we got in the post-credits scene is intriguing. That's a significantly higher level of technological advancement than what we had seen before. I can't wait for more info regarding that.
