This film has one of my favorite openings of all time. I'll never forget seeing it in theaters as a kid. It's funny how you said Nightcrawler gave you Mystique vibes because she's actually his mother in the comics. I'm not sure how you missed it but Stryker's son, Jason, could put illusions in people's minds. He did it to Stryker and his wife - bad enough where she shoved a drill into her head to make it stop.

Dark phoenix is honestly still worth watching as it continues character stories. It was not received well but honestly the other X-Men before it was so good that it was more slipping standards than just bad.

Is it my imagination but did your members here take a drastic decline? I hope not. I love your reactions. Oh well their loss!

This is a vague adaption of the X-Men graphic novel; "God Loves, Man Kills". Stryker was actually a deranged religious zealot/tv evangelist who wanted mutants to suffer because he believed them to be evil incarnate due to their gifts/abilities. It's a bit violent, and darker than would be allowed in regular MARVEL comics.

I really like the X men movies. This one in particular was mind blowing back in the day, because of the story, the effects…and it still looks good. Kevin Feige already showing his firsts steps to become the GOAT. We are so lucky to witness all the projects he’s been part of and the best one of all, the MCU.

Of the first three, this was my favorite. I saw them all in theaters and am a huge geek, so have loved the comics since I was 7. I can't wait to see what Marvel does with the mutants b/c lord, did they really fuck up the X-Men in Fox. They were still enjoyable for what they were.

P.S. Ya know how Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Wolverine, etc. were boys' fave heroes, Storm has been my hero since I was 7. She has always been the best/most badass hero of all time to me.

Inhuman Paradox

Feige's first steps were actually back in the X-Men TAS in the 90s. He wasn't a huge part of them, but that is where he got his start and that's why Marvel Entertainment's heads let him be the most significant liaison between the Comic company and the film productions. Between 2000 and 2006, if a Marvel film was made, its script was approved by Feige. Some of those films were butchered during filming and editing yes, but they all had strong scripts and a big reason for that was how discerning Feige was, and how much Marvel trusted him. Before he formed his own company inside Marvel and the other heads got jealous of him for that.

anyone who has Adamantium grafted to their skeleton has to have regenerative power to survive the procedure. So Stryker had to find another mutant who could heal to make another Wolvie 2.0. lol Yuriko was pretty cool. I always got sad for her after logan injects her with liquid adamant. also. Magneto is my favorite followed by storm.

The first one was good, but I loved this one. It was the best of the original trilogy, but not the best overall. Unfortunately, the quality of X-Men movies was very inconsistent.

There's always a drop on the first day of each month as some people don't stay. But Seb has consistently had more patrons on the first day of each month than the first of the previous month.

X2 is 100 percent the best out of the OG X-Men movies. Days of Futures Past is the Best of the New X-Men films in my opinion. Also that opening Nightcrawler sequence is a masterpiece.
