Back with more of this BANNGER! Doing my best now to get the last 2 episodes out to you this week and then move on to Season 2!! As I literally can't wait lol

Will probably drop them as soon as I have watched so might be random times I just see so many people hyping the new season up! 

Also planning on doing a mashup of season 1 of youtube just showing best bits from each episode as that could be fun and is something new to try out. It will be good for a refresher for season 2 I think on top of that

hmm imo cassie doesn't owe daniel anything. you say she led him on as if it were deliberate but she's always allowed to withdraw consent, and she was on something either times too so they weren’t even fully conscious decisions. (in the scene of her looking at the tampons, she realized she missed her period hehe) also, the guys who sexually assaulted mckay were a part of his fraternity, so it was a part of his hazing process. like nate, mckay’s father has instilled toxic masculinity in him from a young age, but we see it come out of mckay in a way that is more vulnerable than nate. i think mckay repressing his emotions and immediately retreating to sleeping with cassie after the assault made him feel more like “man,” which plays into the stigma of male sexual assault victims ): i feel like he was also trying to seek emotional comfort from his dad when he finally expressed how he's not the best, but the conversation only reiterated to him that he should repress his emotions. i’ve definitely experienced that exact conversation with my own emotionally neglectful parents firsthand oof and ya fuck that nate fellow!! (also the disbelief abt some guys finishing that fast.... all i gotta say is lmao)

I think there is supposed to be two special episodes between the seasons but someone who's watched them might be able to say if that's correct. Oh boy this episode! I think this was the first intro to the show where I felt like I disliked a character more than at the start of it. Is good that we are getting more McKay stuff and we understand him better now, but he's nowhere near as good a person as he seemed in like the first episode. All these relationships are so messed up, truly. Pretty much every guy in the show is a complete a-hole apart from Fez and Ethan and the guy helping out Rue. Nate gone full psycho now and he's now got an extreme power over Jules, she really shouldn't have done that. He now has two things to ruin Jules' life over, which also means he will have power over Rue if she ever gets involved. Nate watching Jules' house though, still seems like he has something for her so I don't want to imagine the messed up stuff he will do to pressure her into something. If Maddy ever dumps him I bet he goes to Jules. I thought there could be a redemption arc for Nate, and maybe there will be some form later on, but he's done stuff that is so messed up and he can't really take back either, so not sure that stuff can really ever be redeemed in any way. I imagine he is only going to get worse and he's a clever boy so it's going to be scary. I felt a big redemption arc for Rue this episode, she owned up to her stuff, she tried to look after Jules and she stayed strong against any substances at a party. Good for her! I don't really know what Cassie is going to do with herself, McKay is a nightmare for her and she just got downtrodden by Daniel- without some new characters to boost her up I am worried for her. I feel like we have to root for the Kat and Ethan romance but I'm not sure Kat is ready for that yet. It almost seems like she has become a slave to her slaves in a way, she just hasn't noticed it yet. So much drama with everything and pretty much everyone seems to have a very questionable character to say the least 😂

For a minute there, I didn’t think your jaw would pick up off the floor lol Seriously though, I’m about to punch some of these characters in the throat, their behavior has reached such toxic levels. Now they’re out here tainting the good characters (Jules 😑) Other hot takes: *Jules’s Juliet costume was peak 🔥 *All of the kids in this show have performance issues (as in they’re performing early 😂) *Lexi was the low key MVP this episode. I suspect she’s one to watch out for as a new fan favorite.

Also, not sure if you guys have the equivalent of fraternities across the pond, but here in the States they’re ruthless (some guys even die during the pledge process). McKays frat bros breaking in just to degrade him in front of his girl is, unfortunately, normal behavior 🤦🏻‍♂️

I think our equivalent is just sports teams, that might do similar. Obviously not in a singular house altogether though. A lot of Fraternities just sound like hell to me 😂 Gimme the brotherhood, not the humiliation and abuse

Okay so...you've probably been told this a hundred times already but you mentioned going from this season to season 2 and I just wanted to remind you of the 2 special episodes that took place between season 1 and season 2. They're not listed directly when you're watching it from a streaming service, just going through the episodes, so you can't watch them organically, unfortunately enough. You'd have to specifically look for the Euphoria specials outside of the episode listings for the seasons.

I feel like taking a shower after every episode of this, yet I can't stop watching. Zendaya is 80% of the show for me personally. As much fun as it is watching all the over the top toxic folks operate as they do, Zendaya's character/performance is phenomenal.
