Well your predictions for this episode were pretty bang on 😂 I loved the almost comedic tease of the basement- "is it even important?" lol. Can't wait until you get to Season 6 Episode 9, if you think Season 3 is mad you have no idea! 🤣 I do hope you have managed to miss most spoilers, even mini ones, despite all the comments and early googling. As much as Patreon is pretty ahead of YouTube, in hindsight was probably a really good thing for reducing potential spoilers from what I have seen, so that is very much a positive I hope

I’ve read the manga after the show cuz I was too impatient to find out what happened lol and if they stick to the manga the anime will be great in the end. Also this season 4 pt2 will be the final season but it’s speculated that there could be a movie… but that’s all rumors rn but I definitely recommend it for the artwork. Pretty well adapted to the anime

I haven't been watching this final season yet (have read the manga) but it does seem like there is no way it ends with S4P2. Even if they do a movie they have to do the episodes as well like Demon Slayer did I guess. Can't say I have ever seen an anime do like a three part "season" equivalent

I really recommend reading the manag! Even tho the anime is most of the time quite accurate to the manga (because Isayama, the creator of AoT also has a say in the anime production) they sometimes cut out scenes or dialogues sadly. But reading the manga from the beginning, just as rewatching the series, really is a lot of fun because you realize so much foreshadowing and how well it works.

To what you said towards the ending: I am pretty sure Isayama (the mangaka) had almost everything planned out when he started this story. Rereading and rewatching the manga and the anime now (and with the knowledge of how the story ends) I noticed so many things, like even in the very first chapter/episode, there are things that connect directly to the final chapter and events that take place way later. That man is an absolute genius and literally everything makes sense in this series if you know the whole thing. Its really amazing and mindblowing

The basement has to be coming relatively soon, but not very soon. Finally, I can't wait. I appreciated how the characters digested some of the groundbreaking information we got in the previous episode. Their deductions and conclusions helped clear things up for me.

how many episodes would you guess for the basement to appear? lol I think at this point in the show, if they hadn't have mentioned or alluded to the basement a few times since S1, I probably would have almost forgot about it 😂
