The introduction of Maya was cool, not sure if we are going to see her as a hero by the end or not. I haven't seen Daredevil in ages and never really got round to S3 of it so I might be missing some obvious stuff but I am with you in thinking some King Pin vibes going on for the Uncle. Was crazy with all the arrows, my jaw dropped with the giant arrow 😂 I wonder who makes them. I feel like we are getting a lot more of Clint which was nice. The phone call with his son was really sad, with subtitles on I could "hear" all the words which made it even sadder I think.

Maya is a cool character, and it's always nice to see representation of any kind. Plus I love the way they introduced her with that flashback. As for the credits being long, note that they include the fancy credits for the main cast that Marvel movies always have, but aren't common for shows. And they have the credits for the translation teams into various languages. Both of those add time in comparison to most shows.

Let me tell you, when he's on the phone with his son and he says "I'm so happy to hear your voice" even though he can't hear him, I bawled... We don't realise how much we take seeing and hearing for granted and this show does a really good job at showing some of the aspects of living without those senses

I showed this episode, specifically the phone conversation scene, to my mom, who doesn’t watch anything in the superhero genre. It hit both of us pretty deep, as she is hard of hearing and I have acted as a constant translator for her my entire life, as she can usually understand me more clearly. That moment really tugs on my heartstrings 🥺
