not the most exciting 3 eps, but i will disagree about this ep and the last one being filler though (as a whole, bc the extra long chases/fights were def unnecessary lol). we met mai, ty lee, and a hint at a new character, and learned prevalent information for the remainder of the season! totally get how it seems on first watch though. super super stoked for next week's eps..

I think Episode 2 and 4 did feel filler-like akin to some episodes in the first series. They each had some relevant stuff though or at least a vague preview I guess. I don't think there will be a ton of filler episodes left but I can't remember lol. I have nothing much to say about this episode at all 😂

I do like these three episodes and they're not really filler because we get a lot of info and people that will be relevant in future episodes. I can't wait for the next eps thooo like imo from s2ep6 onwards, it is almost only banger ep after banger ep

On top of what everyone else has said, I feel like this episode also foreshadows the scariest episode of the series... Also Yue means "moon" in Mandarin Chinese so she's the moon princess, not the fish princess 😂

One quick thing tho, just to let you know (I don't think many people realize) it's that air is invisible, we see it animated in the series for our benefit as an audience but the people in the series can't see it, and given that air benders haven't been around for a hundred years the other nations really don't know how to fight an Airbender. that's why Aang it's usually the victor in all his fights, his enemies can't see his punches coming.

aot has ruined any other show for Seb 😂 even though this batch of episodes weren’t the most action packed or exciting, these were not filler 🗣🗣 they set up a bunch of stuff and are needed to understand and appreciate what’s coming 🙌🏼 I guess I benefit from having watched ATLA before starting to watch AOT, as it was released after ATLA, so I can compartmentalize my hypeness and appreciation for the writing for the different shows

Yeah, gotta go through the slow build up episodes but I'm sure you'll end up loving what's coming. I know I'm a bit behind seeing as I just became a patron but I'm binging some. :)

I think there's a lot of filler since it aired on TV so they don't really want to put an episode on air that might spoil thousands of people. The plot episodes are more exclusive to the streaming services providing them meaning that people who dislike filler based shows with no real plot, they can check these streaming episodes online. I think every TV show has a lot of filler based episodes based on that fact. Hope you enjoyed the show! :)
