I recently read the book for the first time and couldn't stop thinking about Beverly's whole story; it's one of the saddest ones. Not only is she abused/molested/possibly raped by her own father growing up, in the book, Henry Bowers and his band of bullies sexually assaulted her when they were all teenagers. Befriending the Losers was her only solace in life. Unfortunately, her adult experience initially isn't much better as you'll see in It Chapter 2. Re-watching the movies after reading the book makes you empathize with her character even more.

The relationship between the kids was so real and fun to watch in the middle of a horror movie. And Bill Skarsgard was weirdly perfect for this role. I've become a fan. Sidenote: Bill and the storytelling in the new series "CLARK" is amazing. I don't think it's popular enough for a reaction or anything, but worth a watch for some spice, fun action, and artistic visuals sometime.
