It's the 2 hours 20 cut in case you have the shorter version. 

This one has been a long time coming guys and it is finally here, just been busy with LOTR and uni work but more movies are coming! This film actually surprised me in terms of the deeper meaning and all the themes beneath the surface. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I would love to hear your opinions on theories and what you thought about the film!

This took up most of my morning when I should’ve been working. 🙊 Good stuff and glad you enjoyed it! We have a cinema here in Houston that used the 2nd floor carpet pattern for the interior lobby. Look up Alamo Drafthouse La Centerra.

A Vicarious View

Now that you've seen The Shining and October is around the corner you really must see the sequel, Doctor Sleep. I actually like it more than The Shining. And the Director's Cut is completely worth the extra half hour of runtime. So much more development and context for All of the characters. If you do watch it, Please watch the Director's Cut! It truly is a Horror Epic. It is one of the best horror sequels and best book adaptations I've seen. It's also in my Top 3 horror movies of all time. Ewan McGregor plays the grown up Danny from The Shining in it and it really expands on the "shining" mythos and the Stephen King universe. The "shining" is an ever-present part of a majority of Stephen King books and, by default, his movies as well. Understanding what the "shine" is makes a lot of his movies make a lot more sense.
