Here it is Ladies and Gentlemen the extended reaction to the first LOTR movie! I would say I suffered the full 3 and a half hours for you guys but I bloody loved every minute of it!! Cannot wait for the next movie and hope you guys enjoyed this one! Make sure you vote in the poll for the franchise after LOTR has finished as well. I don't expect everyone to watch it the whole way through so feel free to watch it in parts. The timecode in the bottom right is the movie timer so you can sync up easily if you choose to come back later.

Like the Snorlax on your bed :P. But yeah.. These full length reactions are a godsend during quarantine for me when living alone. Putting you on the iPad on the table, and the movie on the TV and it’s almost like watching it with a friend. A very nice alternative when I can’t watch with my “actual” friends at the moment.

Hey Anders! That's an awesome set up, glad to bring you some entertainment for a while :) If you'll watch it ill make it haha

There’s a reason this is considered one of the best series of films ever made. Groundbreaking, in many ways, and pretty damn near flawless. If you buy the extended editions you get an additional two discs just for special features—about 4 hours’ worth per movie—and they’re absolutely worth a watch. Wonderful reaction. Can hardly wait until The Two Towers.

Great reaction as always! I loved the little impersonations you did throughout :p These films are difficult not to like, I think. They're so wonderfully made. The entire Lord of the Rings trilogy was filmed in New Zealand. Like Aimee said, the special features are worth the watch! The amount of work and talent that went into these films is ridiculous. Can't wait for The Two Towers! You'll love it. :D

That was fantastic - I enjoyed every minute of it... regarding the hairs Galadriel gave Gimli: it actually has some significance as Legolas would know, thus he smiles when Gimli tells him: Galadriel once denied a mighty Elf (but who had no good heart) one strand of her hair that he requested similarly to Gimli because he was in awe with her beauty. So, although Gimli was a Dwarf, she still gifted him not only one, but three of her hairs because she saw that he had a good heart and deserved it. I bet Legolas might consider that maybe Elves and Dwarfs can be friends after that :-). I look forward to rewatch the second one with you as I haven’t seen that one in a while. Thank you!

Idk if it's because I'm gay or drunk, but I cried during Boromirs death and the rest and I used to hate him but it's nice watching it the second time through. 😂It's nice getting another opinion lol Can't wait for the next!

A no-spoiler link to the book-verse backstory on Galadriel's gift of three hairs to Gimlei -- https://geektyrant.com/news/interesting-insight-to-galadriels-gift-to-gimli-in-the-lord-of-the-rings Thanks for letting us come along for the ride!

Good link, Naomi. The significance of Galadriel giving Gimli three strands of her hair is pretty huge, but the explanation behind it is fairly nerdy and it's completely understandable why viewers who aren't up on all the lore are baffled by it.
