(THE TIMESTAMP IN BOTTOM RIGHT IS NOT CORRECT so just use the video length for time reference, will fix it for next video) Hey guys hope you are all well! The third act of this film really got me good I gotta say. I won't spoil the reaction but I think you guys are gonna love it. Can't wait for Deathly Hallows Part 1 which will be coming out next Saturday. Will drop a different film in between like last week. Leave a comment on your reaction to this film I would love to know if you had a similar reaction to me or if you read the book first what that reaction was like! Have a great weekend guys and I'll see you on the next one :)

Thank you so much for not waiting two months 😅. Really liked your reaction - and it‘s not a shame to cry at this... I know I did. Ok, I might be a girl and react emotional more often, but man... I read it first in the book and although there were already some theories he might die because Rowling stated pretty early that someone in this book will die, it still hit me pretty hard. I mean, I already told you that Dumbledore was my favorite character (next to Hermione) and there were so many details and long conversations in the book that let me get attached to this good old, grandfatherly guy 😊. But the aftermath in the film was really touching which I think was done far better than in the last film with Sirius. They all raising their wands and destroying the dark mark while Harry left his hand on Dumbledores chest crying? Ouch 😢. But I also think this film really focused on the developing relationships of the trio and some „romance“. Something that seems a bit rushed here especially with Lavender Brown. I mean, we didn‘t see her for 5 films and now Ron is just all over her 😁. To be fair, I really can‘t remember if she appeared in previous books, but the book can definitely take more time to introduce the character 😊. I‘m happy you‘re going to watch the Green Mile - it‘s so good and I actually have it here to watch along this time. Have a great weekend!

Do people really wait two months in between? Glad you enjoyed haha and yeah I bet it hits very hard in the books

Told you to prepare tissues! I cried more when everyone was gathered around his body than the actual death itself (maybe I was still processing then, even though I went into the film knowing he dies). I know someone who threw the book across the room the moment they first read of Dumbledore's death, couldn't stop crying and had to compose themselves before returning to it (a book!). I mean, even you're crying after being with this series for a month plus; imagine many years of loving the character and thinking he was invincible... That said, you better be prepared for the next two. Just like how you compared Dumbledore's death to Sirius's, things will get darker (yes, even darker than this) and sader (yes, you WILL cry more!) That's all I'm saying =(

Yeah I should have had tissues on hand lol. Damn I cant imagine reading the books as they come out to finally read that part! Must have been an amazing experience reading them as they come out though I am jealous of that. God if more people die I really better prepare myself

Oh yeah, I like how you said "you dare try that spell on me?" much earlier in the film during the cornfield scene, because that was the iconic line from Snape later on when he revealed himself as the half-blood prince. I can't imagine what it is like watching the film without reading the books, being overwhelmed with the big reveal right after that heartbreaking death scene.

I was in tears from the moment everyone raised their wands 'till the end of the movie. It's probably the first time I ever cried during a movie as well. Dumbledore has always been my favorite character and his death just ... it felt like losing a friend or family member. Even now, having seen these movies a lot, I still cry. Wonderful reaction as always! I look forward to Deathly Hallows Part 1 :)

I was 7 when I first watched this film so i didnt quite understand... but this is probably the saddest HP death in my opinion, especially in the movies.

SebScreen

Yh it is hard when you are younger to understand some films. I guess I will see if there will be any sadder deaths!

I saw the films then read the books. I cried too.

I was working at a bookstore when this book was released and was already a huge Harry Potter fan. I worked the “midnight release” of the book and the next day one of the managers and I were discussing what we had managed to get read up to that point. One of the other employees, who was rather socially awkward, excitedly said “Yeah, and I can’t believe Snape kills Dumbledore!” and walked away. We were stunned and so angry! Argh, it still makes me angry 16 years later. Fantastic reaction. Excited to watch DH Part 1 now. 🙂

I mean I was a late reactor to this series just like you but I did read the books first so I knew it was coming.. :( but I still cried of course when I first saw that moment, but I didn't have the is he bad-is he good thing with Snape in the movies because I had read all the books already hahaha
