I really like the attention to detail too. Reacher says that he’s a combat expert, etc. well, his fighting technique is actually portraying that. Notice how whenever he initially strikes a dude in the head (the hardest part of a human) he uses his elbow. Why? Cuz hands are too fragile and break and fracture so easily. Especially punching someone in the head. So they teach you to use your elbow. Because when you bend your arms up and have your elbow out like that? It literally becomes the toughest part on your body. And THAT won’t break when you use it to smash someone in the face. In fact, doctors say with enough training and the right amount of force: it’s the equivalent of a major league player swinging his bat.it can generate nearly a thousand pounds of force. Especially If you’re built like a FUCKING TANK!!!
