Oooo and also, in this world…the Iron Throne is somewhat of an Oracle aka an object that has its own will. And it chooses who is worthy to sit on it…and who isn’t; that is why the King is literally falling apart and getting cut continuously from the Throne…because it doesn’t accept him as King and thinks he isn’t worthy of sitting on it.

Oh and you are totally right. This is from a book. It’s a book that documents the Targaryen histories and it’s called Fire and Blood by George R. R. Martin.

⚜️ I'm so glad Rhaenyra got Viserys to open his eyes to how shady, manipulative, and power hungry the Hand Otto Hightower is. Viserys was calling out stuff we didn't even know about, the king should have been known that guy is no good.

Okay so I thought I’d nerd out and lay some ground mythos that’ll help emphasize/make sense/add weight to some poignant moments and meetings of Dragons teeheehee At this time, there are about 17-20 Dragons right now. We have seen 3 so far. Rhaenyra’s Dragon, Syrax and Daemon’s Dragon, Caraxes. Laenor’s Dragon, Sea-Smoke; But there are Dragons out there that used to have riders but the rider died either from battle or old age. (Dragons never stop growing and live for hundreds of years. So now they’re just kinda chillin and waiting for someone to be brave enough to claim them) And then there are straight up WILD Dragons. Dragons that refused to ever be claimed and now roam and nest freely. Dragons are a lot like people and the way that claiming a Dragon works is you have to overpower the Dragons Will. And if you can’t, you usually get eaten. Or if you actually DO manage to get on the dragons back? the Dragon will be in control…NOT you. Meaning, you go where THEY wanna go. Dragons are naturally drawn to people with personalities like them. Kind of like the difference between finding a friend and then finding your BESTIE!! some Dragons and Dragon Riders have better chemistry. And those ones are truly!!! TRULY!!!! Formidable…*hint hint cough cough* Looking at you Daemon and Caraxes. Bonus Mythos- When Daemon claimed Caraxes (AS A CHILD of 12) the DragonKeepers tried to persuade him NOT to approach Caraxes. Why? Because Caraxes was deemed the most ferocious Dragon to EVER be born. the DragonKeepers were actually the ones that gave him the nickname ‘the Blood Wyrm.’ and he can hit WAAAAAAY (like WAY) above his weight. The boi can FIGHT!!!! But there are totally HUGE …IGNORANT Dragons out there still not claimed and also, Claimed ones that we haven’t seen yet. And there are some truly beautiful ones coming omg
