after hearing people constantly say how good this movie was I will say It didnt dissapoint. Definitely one of the best Multiverse movies I've seen in a bit. My favorite being "The One" with Jet li and Jason Statham

Loved this movie when I first saw it, and like you I really love the overarching theme! It is hard to follow in some parts, but way easier to understand the second time you watch it, as I just found out lmao

I feel you on this one. It definitely hits close to home and that’s what I find so great about it. The chaos and hard to follow parts are very much intentional. As Waymond said… “We’re all confused. All I know is we have to be kind”. Encanto and this film are my favorite films of 2022 so far. Glad you enjoyed the overall theme though. I’m not sure if you follow Amanda The Jedi on YouTube but she often calls these types of movies, “the give a shit films”. They’re the best. I wish we’d see more films about the human condition.

I hadn't watched any previews at all before watching this the first time, I was caught completely off-guard - one of the best movies I've seen in a while. So good to see Ke Huy Quan/Jonathan Ke Quan (Data from "The Goonies"/Short Round from "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom") all grown up and still just as endearingly hilarious as he was as a kid.
