R2 is one of the best characters in Star Wars. Also yeah they don't really show Rex or the other main clones in the movies. Which is why I love this show because they show more of their lives and what they have to go through. Grievous is also one of my favorites even though he's a snake. As for episode 8 there has always been this funny theory that Jar Jar is actually one with the force (because of how clumsy yet lucky he is) and this episode made that idea even funnier.

That's why I love this show. You never know what your gonna get. Fun episodes, serious episodes, emotional episodes, action packed episodes. It has it all. R2 is amazing. My favorite droid though is chopper who you won't meet until Star Wars Rebels series. Jar-Jar is another character I like a lot. We always need comedic relief.
