In episode 1 of season 4, Sookie was trying to escape the fairy realm. If you watch that episode back, you'll recall that one fairy helped her and her grandfather escape back to the human world; that was claude (the fairy who said he's Claudine's brother - claudine is sookie's fairy godmother who Eric killed in S4).

I do think that what Terry did on his tour was awful, but knowing the kind of guy he is I do feel for him. I think there is an aspect of brainwashing that goes into our armed forces. Our men and women are basically made to follow orders. They are trained to follow commands. Even after active service. I work as a civilian for an Army contract and my job is working with the men and women on the military bases all over the world. It is a very different culture. I am still learning how to operate in that culture because I am not military nor am I from a military family.
