For me the sequel trilogy is not canon. Star Wars ended at Revenge of the Sith. Although The Mandalorian is great.

Funny how when Luke is cutting Jabba's henchmen with the lightsabre at the beginning, they just fall back unconscious, fully intact. A strike with a lightsabre would cleave someone in 2. But it was designed to be kid friendly I guess, especially the third movie.

Now you are becoming one of us. The first 40 minutes of this movie is one of the greatest things in cinematic history. Now we move on to episodes 1, 2 and 3. Episode 1 is "The Phantom Menace" 1999. That is the one you will watch next. After that is Episode 2 "Attack of the Clones" 2002 and then episode 3 "Revenge of the Sith" 2005. After that I'll let you know what's next. I have been a Star Wars fan my whole life. I have seen every Star Wars movie and series many times and have read every book. It is a very big part of my life. It is so hard to find anyone who has never experienced anything to do with Star Wars. I hope you know how much it means to me to witness someone as awesome and kind as yourself to watch these for the first time. It is truly an honor. I get chills knowing what your about to witness in the next movies. I think you will be so hooked that you will want to watch Clone Wars, Rebels and The Mandalorian. That's the best part about Star Wars is there is so much material. Thank you again and I can't wait till the next one.

I never saw either of the kisses as anything but friendly. The first was to make Han jealous and the second was more of a relief, thank God you're alive kiss. They were both chaste, not making out like she did with Han.

tbh that's how I originally viewed it too, but it IS a bit amusing to think about this plot twist with a possible love triangle, lol
