Chill white knight. I'm a gen Xer, I grew up before the woke feminisation of men. For the vast majority of history men had to be strong and stoic, their status and survival depended on projecting an aura of strength. I don't know any straight guys who tell other guys that they love them, unless they're blind drunk at 4am after a night out. Also 'That's totally gay' is not necessarily referencing homosexuality, 'gay' has taken on a new meaning, just as it took on a new meaning when homosexuality adopted it from 'happy and carefree'.
