if your videos are limited for copyright youtube doesnt push them out dunno if thats why or not....also I cant ever see this movie the same again because of scary movie 2 🤣 i just find it funny now lmao.

Having watched most of the demonic horror movies over the years I feel this movie, while being a classic is not as scary as it once was. It's disturbing in places but I find the Conjuring movies, Insidious and Sinister scarier.

Seriously India, F##k Youtube and their censorship-mad screwing over content creators.

I have never seen this movie. Growing up super religious this was a huge no no lol I can’t believe we are about to watch this 😅 I am frighten

The statue image appeared next to Regan because the demon is an ancient Sumerian/Babylonian demon/god of the 4 winds called Pazuzu. The little sculpture the cop found at the bottom of the steps was one of Regans sculptures from her room, not the Pazuzu head that Merrin found in Iraq. Also the 90lb woman lifting a truck off her kid is an urban myth, it's been debunked. Oh, and some people are confused by Regan kissing the priest at the end. It's because in her subconscious she remembers that she was saved by a priest(s) and the memory was triggered by seeing the priest collar. I found the moment really sweet. The demon passed to Regan partly because she was using the Ouija board and was emotionally vulnerable due to her daddy issues (watch out India!Lol) But perhaps there was some sort of God's plan going on to restore Damien's faith in God through seeing the demonic and engaging in selfless sacrifice, who knows?

I think it was a breakthrough because it was one of the first ones to deal with the supernatural like that

Apparently some people were puking and leaving the theatre LMAO. Quite a few Christian viewers were upset I think, although ultimately it was a triumph of God over evil IMO, via a noble sacrifice. I was 1 year old at the time and probably a bit young to see it in theatres :)

Next classic 70s horror movie to watch is 'The Omen'

Natasha G

I saw it when I was about 13, in the 90ss. It was still really talked about

And I am SO sorry about the viewership! That is one of the MAJOR reasons why I cannot be a creator-too much ongoing stress for my anxiety disorder

Natasha G

I will say Linda Blaire was told not to do this because it would ruin her career. She wouldn't get many movies after this, but I think she gave one of the best performances in horror movie I have ever seen

A mate of mine a while ago emailed me a link to the porn version of The Exorcist lol.

Found some time to get on this I need an old priest and a young priest lol

Just finished the reaction this is another one that would be characterized as a horror movie not a scary movie. India we need for you not to hurt yourself while doing reactions.

I remember when this movie first came out. It was a phenomenon - a sensation that had everyone talking. It was one of the original "blockbusters" that set the trend for horror movies for decades afterward. The lines to get in to see the movie were wrapped around the block. The book sold out at the bookstores and contained the full text of the Roman Ritual for Exorcism at the end. 1973 -- such a messed up year in the USA. We were still trying to withdraw from Vietnam, Watergate dominated the news, rampant inflation, rising gas prices, the fourth and largest Arab-Israeli conflict began when Egyptian and Syrian forces attacked Israel (the Yom Kippur War). A messed up decade actually -- but, we had the movies where we could escape. Movies like The Exorcist, Jaws, The Omen, and many other helped keep us distracted - at least for a while. Great reaction -- I hope your leg is okay!! Sorry I laughed so hard when you jumped out of your chair. Happy Halloween!

It certainly puts a new spin on what the demon was telling the priests to do to Regan at one point. It's actually quite funny as all those porn parody movies are. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1x-ATlpqo1M
