First let me start off by saying this is why I love being a part of this family. I have watched this movie over 200 times and I have never. I mean never have seen anyone get emotional about this movie. Doc Brown is Uncle Fester from The Addams family.

What the dumb bully was trying to say is make like a tree and leave. Yes we have to get to two and three. Groundhog Day is a good movie as well.

I get emotional about this movie, probably because of nostalgia and what a cinema landmark it is in pop culture. It brings me back to being a teenager in the 80s.

I get that. It's just always interesting to see movies that we grew up on and things that need personally would have never looked at as being emotional. Then it gets me to thinking like damn I seen this movie over 200 times and now I feel bad lol. Like when he said you're going to be mayor and then India reaction thereafter. It almost got me.

At the start when he's auditioning for the judges, the judges are the real life band who's song it was, 'Huey Lewis and the news', 'the power of love'. Marty was doing a hard rock instrumental version.

George McFly's ineptitude with talking to Lorraine was so painful to watch, it's hard to imagine any guy being so bad with women lol.

The thing Doc missed is that Marty went back in time straight after he got shot which means there was no future to mess up because Doc getting shot was the end point of the timeline they knew, so everything after that point is a new future anyway.

Michael J Fox is one of my all time favorite actors. He has Parkinsons, and so proud of all he has done. Recently he got to play with Coldplay band and they did the song "Go Johnny Go". And I got so emotionally at him playing his guitar, still!

Great reaction! Glad you enjoyed the movie. What a crazy adventure. I can’t imagine anyone other than Michael J. Fox playing the role of Marty. I would love to go back in time and “fix” a few things. I had a good relationship with my parents, but some dysfunctional things happened in my sisters’ lives that definitely could have been done differently. Looking forward to Part 2!
