You spoil us India‼️

Jet Li is SO amazing. What a monster.

DeGrate One

One of my favorite jet li movies. You might want to watch Romeo must die featuring Aaliyah. The One is another interesting movie by jet li. Other martial arts movies you cannot go wrong with or enter the dragon The last dragon The karate kid. Also movies by John Claude Van Damme like blood sport double impact time cop.

DeGrate One

I'm saying happy birthday on everything

Reprovis

Please tell me you have seen his movie “the One” omg it’s amazing

Reprovis

I always thought of Jet Li as the rated R version of Jackie Chan lol

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

you totally need to add "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" to the list too. its a masterpiece and one of the most unique movies. 80's and 90's have some of the BEST action movies. Michelle Yeoh, Jackie Chan, Jet Li....all in their prime. they really are true masters and should be appreciated hehe

Reprovis

Yeah. Those aren’t matches….my jaw dropped in a chill when I saw those….those are acupuncture needles aka pressure point needles. That means that our ‘Johnny’ knows a great deal about the inner workings of the human body. Especially the nerves and veins. What happens to you, depends on where he pricks you with one of those things. You can pass out, be paralyzed, rendered unconscious, and even extremes…..like he can pin specific arteries or veins and stop important networks of blood flow …. And kill you. Not a lot of people know pressure points. So the fact that he does? Really makes him scary.

Bruh. I miss Aaliyah. I remember Jet Li being interviewed for that movie and saying that he has never seen any American take to martial arts like her. She was a natural. So much so that after seeing her practice with the stunt team, he, Jet Li intervened and said he wanted to train Aaliyah. And he says that by the time she was done with the movie…she was a monster.

DeGrate One

It was jet Li's idea to put the part that should not be spoken of into the movie. I miss her too she was truly One in a million and as hard as they try they can never replace

Reprovis

Dude. What is the name of the Jet Li movie where he is on a chain and kept as a “dog” that only fights? And his owner is a big fat gross guy?

Reprovis

Bruh. Are you for real? That makes it even more insane! Ooooo I need to actually watch it cuz I haven’t seen it in prolly 18 years 👁️👄👁️ Yeah. I still remember where I was when we got the news broadcast that her plane crashed. It really kinda fucked me up. Cuz she was so different and actually talented. Did you see her in Queen of the damned? Like…..she could actually act!

DeGrate One

That walk in that movie Man. The news hook me up cuz I always wanted to see her in concert.

Jet Li is an incredible martial artist, it's a pity the fight scenes had so many quick cuts. That's actually a big no no in the Hong Kong martial arts movie scene, the camera should remain focused on the action longer so the audience knows what's happening and the fight choreo is shown in it's full glory. Often quick cuts in fight scenes are used to cover dodgy fight choreo or technique from non martial artist actors like Liam Neeson in 'Taken' in a scene or 2.

Aaron Barlow

Aaliyah was a literal monster in 'Queen of the damned', a beautiful monster.

Reprovis

Bro. My love for you has grown so strong! That’s such a niche factoid and only real martial arts movie nerds know and can recognize the difference. I couldn’t agree more. Jackie Chan said it best….they cut fights like that and make it so you can’t tell what’s going on because the actors can’t fight. When they can actually fight? They just plop down the camera and leave it. Bravo dude. And it’s so true, India. You haven’t really seen a real fight until you’ve seen a true martial artist. It’s why Blade looks so good. Wesley Snipes is like what? A 5th degree black belt? Love. Another brilliant martial artist is Tony Jaa. We need to watch his movies too. Especially “the Raid”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY INDIA!!!
