Dragon Facts Vermithor … (the giant bronze dragon that Hu claimed) …and SilverWing… (the silver she-dragon that the other guy Ulf claimed) …are married lol those two dragons are old and go way back in the realm’s histories. Both are nearly 100 years old. But one of the coolest fact? They were Rhaenyra’s grandparent’s dragons … (King Jahaerys and Queen Alysanne) …and they still nest, fly around, play n hangout all the time.

Vermithor is the grumpy old war veteran that wanted a worthy rider; meanwhile his wife SilverWing just woke up from a nap and immediately went into Mama mode and started taking care of this chicken nugget cuz she misses people. I love how we are getting to see the drastic difference in personalities of these dragons. I needed this so much omg. Fun facts- SilverWing was known as the ‘friendliest’ she-dragons in all of Targaryen history. She actually seemed to really enjoy being around people. Which was really poetic because Queen Alysanne was loved dearly by the people.

Oh and I wanted to say some stuff about the ‘Dragon Keepers.’ They are a lot like Stable Hands for horses mixed heavily with Zookeepers. They raise, clean, feed, keep all the ancient songs and rituals, as well as (over the generations) have kinda formed a religion out of Dragon Keeping. Revering them as gods. I mean, we saw that all Dragon Keepers have a suicide knife, cuz they know that dragon fire isn’t always quick. And it’s hotter than regular flames. They’re lowkey the real OG’s and some of the toughest motherfuckers around. I mean, they literally work with dragons their entire lives. *TedTalk intensifies*
