Hello everyone! It's Halloween, and time for a special episode.

As we know, I've been making pretty much exclusively podcasts covering the Moral ethicality of media (Hence the name, MoralCast) for the past 2 years, so today... is another podcast! I can't imagine what life would be like if I made audios about any other subject. What a ridiculous idea. Anyways...

The society we live in is a constant in all of our lives, and sometimes, we can get caught up in expectations of what we should be rather than what we want to be. Join me, SomewhatImmoral, the host of MoralCast, each Saturday as we explore different methods of sticking it to the system, and becoming more ethical people. If you need help learning how to stick it to the metaphorical man, come along for the adventure as we review and explore the moral implications of School Of Rock!

I can't believe we've been through 67 podcast episodes already. We've reviewed The Emoji Movie, Kung Fu Panda, Venom... so much. This episode, MoralHeads, is one of the best yet. As always, I always love to hear your conversations in the comments, so feel free to start a chat!

Happy Halloween, and here's to many more great times <3

🎵 MoralCast Time 🎵 You did so well with this!! For someone who hasn't watched School of Rock, this was supper fun and entertaining to listen to!! You definitely are good at story telling. I know you were parodying podcasts, but I would actually listen to this more often!! And totally wild dream you had there. Imagine if. Happy Halloween, Moral!! 🎸🎃 💗

Parody?? Bah, I have no idea what you're talking, this is a Podcast Patreon. But, theoretically, pretending that I did- I'm really glad to hear that! I wouldn't be surprised if these longer monologues about random topics became more common later, since I learned so much in the notetaking/organizing for this. Movie reviews are really good ways to make extremely long content without spending 3+ weeks recording/editing (with notes being the more involved element here), and I know I love this sort of content (Jenny Nicholson is a youtuber I've mentioned a lot in the past that makes that brand of video). Hope you have a happy Halloween, as well! 🎃🎃🧡

Hey there moral! Long time listener, first time caller—this is the best moralcast episode yet. School of Rock is one of my favorite films, but I’ve never put forth much thought about Jack Black’s morals. Looking forward to the next episode! (Also does anyone else think about how Andrew Lloyd Webber adapted School of Rock for Broadway bc I think about it all the time)

That is absolutely lovely to hear, I try my best to get better and better each podcast episode. I was really surprised at it becoming a beloved film for me, as well- and it was definitely a difficult process to sift through notes to see the moral implications of Jack Black (as it always seems to be for him in his films). and WHAT THERE'S A SCHOOL OF ROCK MUSICAL i'm going wild and I need to watch this, I looked at a minute clip of it and it seems *good*
