A long wait for a bus each morning becomes something more meaningful.

The August NSFW Exclusive this month is... a Narrative audio! We've got rain sounds, symbolism, grinding, the whole works. It's pretty rare for me to have a fully serious audio, and I don't think there are any jokes in this one, surprisingly. Woah.

This is pretty similar to one of my earliest Patreon SFW audios with rain, which makes sense. Water is super symbolic in media, with one of the most common tropes being characters falling into water and returning/getting rained on/taking a bath or shower as a way to represent a rebirth or change of character. And that's just scratching the surface, films loooove using water, since it's snazzy- so you'll see it for a ton of other emotions too. It's super useless information for most people but really fun to learn about if you like tropes in media.

I do want to hear, what do you like about rain? I love the lukewarm sort of rain that feels like it's the same temperature as your skin, because it makes the outside feel like a constant nice shower when you're walking or running outside. I know some people just like the sound, or aesthetic, so feel free to share! 💙🌧️🌧️

Stay dry and cool <3

Moral this is exquisite. I am so so so happy for this audio. It’s goooorgeous work, oh my God! Honestly, narratives are so underrated, I wish there were more! I absolutely love them. Your voice is beautiful on this. And the rain… Love love love the rain! I like the earthy smell that comes with it. It’s so good. The ending? It made me tear up a bit. I thought so beautiful. And this just cemented what your voice looks like to me. Would you like to know how I see you? Moral, your voice has the same colour as a deep forest green, when it just stopped raining and there’s still droplets of water falling from the leaves. And has the texture of a leaf, you know, when you rub your fingers in it and you can feel the ribs of a leaf? That. I hope you have an amazing start of the week, dear! All the hugs! 💛

Narratives ARE underrated with how uncommon they are. I can see myself making more in the future just due to how they can be easier for me to get in the mindset for (since I can't always be loud, physically and mood-wise), and how they give me a nice excuse to write. I know there's some people around GWA have synesthesia, which makes it so sounds get crossed with taste/feeling/etc., and it has been so incredible to hear how different voices are perceived by different people 🍃 Hope your week is going amazing as well, Anira!! 🧡🧡

Dunno if it's weird to receive a comment on an old post but I've been exploring your audios (as a new patron 🤧) and i just rly felt like sharing my thoughts on this audio It felt so,, cinematic??? Which is ironic bc this is an audio but, i think it's because the way you narrated everything made the scene so vivid in my head and it was beautiful. Romantic even. I love how the narrations overlayed with the dialogue and how it felt like I was reliving a beautiful memory with you. This is different from what I usually listen to and I'm rly glad I stumbled upon this. I hope you get to share more of your ~experimental~ approaches in creating your audios bc theyre really interesting! (((No pressure tho 🤧))) much love 💗💗💗

That's really lovely to hear- narrative audios are a great path to painting vivid pictures, but they're so uncommon that I have trouble knowing how to properly construct them. This is one of the experimental audios I haven't come back to yet, surprisingly- they usually combine/amalgamate into other ones, later. Maybe a similar, more story/scene driven approach? Or a character who just narrates their own lives. I like that trope far too much. Hmmm. Something to think about. Big hearts!! ❤❤❤
