First, the possible emergency: Patreon thinks I haven't verified my identity/age. I did. If this doesn't resolve I may not be able to receive payouts from this place anymore, in which case I'd be forced to move elsewhere. So keep an eye out on my Twitter in case I make an announcement to that effect there, though maybe I'd still at least be able to post here lol.

As for LyLaD, you can see a new little video uploaded here. A follow up to the previous two, showcasing a major character, mirror sprites, and a failed attempt to dispel a curse.

Also I accidentally just kept working on the game instead of getting back to drawing, so I've now gotten to the point where I can effectively mark off the in-game time system as complete. I also revamped some combat mechanics to be less haphazardly thrown together and work more reliably. Some of that stuff was bound to break if I threw anything weird at it but now the systems I dumped on top of the normal rpgmaker combat should be much more resilient.
Other work involved adapting all the weapon moves and perk effects to work off in-game time wherever that was needed, plus some nice signifiers that show up in the status display during combat. Like if a move has lower accuracy you'll see that effect pop up down there as it is used, or if an effect from a perk triggers you'll be able to see it and know that it's active.

There are some bugs and tweaks I need to spend some time on still but after this I can move onto finished the next big obstacle which is some of the map systems that I explained before: Traps, Stealth, and some special tools.
