Gamedev: Current progress this month has knocked the first few bullet points off the pre-demo checklist. These are pivotal mechanics that will come into play often (some depending on your build) and reflect major components of the fetishistic side of the game, while also having effects on the gameplay itself.

Since this project is coming off of a previous attempt at a text-based game, a lot of my ideas do revolve around text. But art can only reasonably cover so much of the content, in a game like this meant to be dynamic and very open-ended. My goal is for descriptions and flavor text to be highly reactive, accounting for various contexts when it comes to describing generic events. This helps when trying to strike a balance between novelty and genericism. Generic text doesn't evoke much feeling, but text that is good and distinctive will lose its punch if it gets repeated over and over. However, a simple text description of, say, Lilya burping can be altered according to context: Whether it happens after eating, during a battle, or when she's surrounded by other people, for instance. By reflecting these circumstances I'm hoping to make the text more unique and memorable overall while reducing repetition.

Right now the systems completed that hook into this are: Bloat, controlling when belly noises and burping occurs based on what Lilya has eaten and the state of her stomach. Fullness, describing when Lilya passes through specific tiers of fullness after eating. And Shame, detailing Lilya's emotional reactions to all kinds of fetishistic events. Other things that will be implemented are reactions to drastic weight changes, breast expansion and lactation, and much more general/random 'atmospheric' flavor text.

Unfortunately there's only placeholder messages right now, so there's nothing worth showing off exactly.

Other completed mechanics are: Composure, a sort of universal secondary stat that can improve Lilya's performance and let her bluff on skill checks, but becomes more volatile the higher its base value is. And ??? points, a measurement of Lilya's 'excitement'. Lilya may end up liking what happens to her, and when that's the case her ??? points (?P) will rise when more of such events occur. This is another avenue to loss scenarios, besides outright losing or becoming too full in battle.

In the end did you manage to find good belly noises? I remember you weren't satisfied with the default ones
