Personal Use License Commercial Exceptions:

This is a list of exceptions that apply to the Personal Use License Agreement that allow minor forms of commercialization.

(1) Paid Game Masters
-
Sample Scenario: You are a game master and provide your story-telling services to run games for a fee. You use our assets to create maps which are used in your paid games

You are not required to have a commercial license for the use of maps that include our assets in your paid games.

(2) Streaming & Youtube
-
Sample Scenario: You are run a weekly game of your favorite TTRPG with your friends and stream it on Twitch. Your games often contain maps made with PeaPu assets. People subscribe to your channel financing your operations.

You may use any free or exclusive PeaPu content that you have access to, on video streaming such as but not limited to, Twitch, YouTube, Odysee, etc. You are permitted to commercialize your video content without a commercial license.

(3) Amateur Commission Artists
- Sample Scenario: You made some great maps, and were asked by someone to make them a map for money. You agreed but didn't know how often you were doing it so decided to use some PeaPu assets for this particular map.

If you find yourself using our art irregularly for your commissions (not reliant on it for a majority of your projects), then you can monetize your services without acquiring a commercial license. However, if you find yourself regularly using our assets, then the acquisition of such a license becomes necessary.

[Third-party Commercial Use]
The work you create using our assets is yours. You may pass on a commercial license of your own to third parties. However, third parties may not resell your work 'as is' and must include it as part of a larger project.

(i.e. You can sell your map to a third-party who may then sell a book containing the map or an adventure module or whatever other larger project. They cannot resell your map. In order to do so, they would have to be subscribed to our Patreon at a commercial tier, follow the license regulation outlined here, and have permission to sell your work from you.)

Credit must still be given to us by the third-party.
Example:

Tobias Linder

This is a very fair and reasonable license. Thank you for being so open and clear.

Greg

As a precision, it is not possible to add on a product page an Url link on DriveThruRPG which sends to an external website. So I write that it was made with assets from PeaPu on Patreon.

PeaPu

That's absolutely fine. The example was more to indicate a pretty good way of doing it. Naturally, platforms will have their own rules and limitations so sharing links is not always possible.
