Listened to this again, and man... Pre nWo Hogan WCW would be a fascinating season for the podcast. From Bash at the Beach 94 to Bash at the Beach 96. Lots of silliness and nonsense, with just enough interesting undercard players, and a look at how quickly that boom period comes at the end.

I know I shouldn't have been surprised this far into the book, but my God. I was absolutely 100% certain during the bit with Hogan's dad on his deathbed, Adam was gonna reveal he was kidding about the "save wrestling" speech. Thank you guys for sacrificing your minds and grip on what's the truth and what's the "trizzuth." Adam needs a break before the Hogan mind virus fully takes hold and he starts referring to everyone as his Bibilozoids

I just found a copy of Hogan’s dark sided second book at a thrift store today. I opened it to the first paragraph of the introduction, thinking ‘there’s no way, Kefin had to be kidding’. Sure enough, it opens with “The gun was in my hand” right away. Weird thing for anyone around me to catch me laughing at in public, but ah well.

Honestly, the 2000s WCW PPVs are fairly boring. The weekly TV is where the delicious trash is.

I don't know where else to share this info... I just heard Scott Aukerman say on CB!B! that his partner Kulap used to work in the Mall of America. Specially at a fast food spot called... PASTAMANIA!!!! 💪🏽🇺🇸
