Hi, happy Thanksgiving Eve!!

Hope y'all are doing well ... thought I'd get this to you before the holiday weekend sets in (for those of you in the US). Surprisingly, we have a lot of international Patrons!! Hope y'all are doing well wherever you are around the world!

Anyways, here's Album Listening Party #01 - STRAY KIDS!! Personally, I really like the B-Sides and some of the dance-y type of vibe tracks. Allison really liked the gritty stuff. I may have cried a little at one of the MV's ... but good times overall!

Well, happy listening and Happy Turkey Day!

Item is one of my faves on the album too, along with Topline. I really enjoy Cover Me off of Rockstar (which I hope you can listen to some of those somewhere down the road). You have so much on your plate and limited time together, SOOOOO I'm really happy that you are taking time to fill your "friend time" with content for us as well! Looking forward to the Seventeen guides and more Ateez when you get to them. Everything has been a really joy to experience together with you!

I finally was able to watch this and wanted to give you a little background on some of the songs and overall. As always the group members write and compose all the songs and Bang Chan participates in the arrangement along with one or two other producers. In this album the members that participated in writing and composing were - Bang Chan, Changbin, HAN, who are known as 3racha and the main producers and they were joined by Felix on 2 of the tracks. Hall of Fame, Item, and Super Bowl - do have choreography which you can find from their live concert footage/ 3rd Fan meeting ( in HD as they were streamed) and it is really impactful and I think you will enjoy it. Super Bowl - is all English and there is a Japanese version that has a MV. This song was created 3 years ago as a title track that was replaced with God's Menu and was released in this album. This is one of the songs Felix participated since it had to be translated to all English. DLC - was written by only Changbin and was filmed in Paris when they were there to headline Lollapalooza. Making them the first K-pop group to headline any Lollapalooza event. Get Lit - was written by only HAN and it is definitely a party anthem and since you both enjoy fashion so much the boys are involved with many brands: Hyunjin is the global ambassador for Versace and face of their holiday campaign, and the first Korean ambassador in the brands history. Felix is the house ambassador for Louis Vuitton, he met the head of their women's line at an event and he loved him and signed him as an ambassador. He is part of Gentle Monster an eye wear brand. I.N. is expected to become an ambassador for Alexander McQueen and attended fashion week sponsored by the brand. Lee Know is expected to become an ambassador for Gucci, he did a sponsored photo shoot and was supposed to attend fashion week but couldn't. The other members have rumored possible collaborations more notably Bang Chan with Givenchy, Changbin with Ferregamo and Seungmin with Coach. The whole group are ambassadors for Tommy Hilfiger and seemingly soon to be announced for Chrome Hearts. FNF- does stand for Flora and Fauna and it was written by Bang Chan and Felix. It was filmed in Melbourne Australia and written in memory of all that was lost during the Australian Wild Fires. It's supposed to be about losing someone or something and the guilt and grief you feel even knowing you will someday also die and be with them but it feeling like you can never truly catch up to them. Youtiful- was written by Bang Chan and is dedicated to the Fandom STAY. The Sound - was originally released in Japanese as part of their album and was included in Korean. The original Japanese release has a MV. Mixtape: Time Out- was a single that was released for the Fandoms birthday, Aug 1, 2022 as a gift. It was included in this album to make it available. It was filmed in Malibu, CA during their Tour in 2022. Sorry this got so long it just seemed you enjoyed the album so wanted to offer some tidbits. Thanks again!

OMG I've been meaning to respond to this but THANK YOU so much for all the info! It helps to just have more context and backstory to the music! There's a Lollalaloopza in Paris?? I didn't know that. I thought it was just in Chicago. That's super cool that they filmed it there. It really has that cool, airy, street dancer vibes to it! I LOOOOVE fashion and we both just ate up "Get Lit" - like seriously, Korea does top tier in fashion. Ugh. So inspiring! OMG FNF. That brings so much more in perspective about the fires! I'm going to have to re-read the lyrics now. Youtiful made me cry. And I can't believe Time Out was filmed in Malibu! That's not far from where we are in LA ... it's like they were in our hood! (Not really) but still. So close! Love the tidbits! We love to learn. Thanks!

Honestly though - we love watching these things together anyways. Might as well record it while we hang!! It's like y'all are here with us! Currently editing the Ateez album listen. That'll go up next week ;)

You two should really watch the MV for the Sound. That song is amazing in Japanese. I love Korean (currently learning it) but for some reason the Japanese translation has so much more impact... but maybe it's also because of the amazing video. lol Also, the video for Super Bowl is fun. You mentioned loving football uniforms... I HIGHLY recommend watching that video then.

Thanks for the recs!! I remember someone commenting about the Super Bowl MV's and I wasn't sure which one to do. Literally if they are in football uniforms - I'll die. Also I have no idea how I missed the MV for The Sound. My bad! Added both MV's are on the watch list!!
