Ok, so weirdness.

Did any of y'all watch this MV and was like "um ... is this an ad?" Because that's literally how I felt. But now having edited the video and watching our pure look of confusion on our faces - it's hysterical.

I just feel like it's so out of place in k-pop but maybe this is where things are going? I mean, other big bands were brand sponsors also but I don't think that really bled into their artistry. Unless this was purely meant to be recorded as an ad? It was just kind of weird.

What did y'all think of it?

On another note - we finally got to watch Ditto Side B. I've been sitting on that one for awhile. It's like I've been missing a puzzle piece. This is what I wanted out of a new MV - another piece of the universe that they're building.

I did hear they have a comeback this June though. So maybe a new MV to carry on the story is next? Hopefully not so ad campaign-y. But still I love NewJeans. I love their sound / style / freshness to the k-pop genre.

Anyways - that's it for now. Ok bye!
