Definitely a big episode. Can't wait for the final season. I wanna point out that a new Castlevania show was released a few months ago called Nocturne. It's set during the French Revolution and stars Richter Belmont, a Belmont further down along the line. Season 3's ending gives me serious "Empire Strikes Back" vibes. Basically, a "series of down endings" as Dante Hicks would describe it. Everyone gets their first taste of victory but finds out the hard just how cruel the world still is. It also sets things up for a massive rollercoaster of a final season.

I guess it's karma for Hector in the sense that she did to him what he wanted to do to humanity for Dracula. Although he still got a pretty nice deal comparatively speaking. Probably got a nicer deal than if he had stuck with Dracula as well. A lot of people drag on Lenore and Carmilla for their actions, but like Dracula, they are vampires and vampires are going to be vampires. So I don't hold them to the same moral standards I hold humans in regards to humanity. Personally, any vampire capable of holding themselves to the same moral standards as a basic human might as well be a saint.

Electrified

A little detail about the judge that you probably don't want to know is that in an earlier episode he's seen leaving that room both sweating and out of breath. I'm sure you can probably guess what it was he was doing in there. Just shows how twisted he really was.

Somehow Lenore's actions seem more understandable than Carmilla. Because Lenore seems more measured whereas Carmilla seems to act out of emotion and really having pure disdain for everyone outside of her sisters.
