Here we are!!! I don't think I've watched these really early Super episodes since they first aired but they do a good job at picking up more or less right from DBZ. One slight goof this episode makes is that it says it's only mere months since Kid Buu happened except it's actually been 4 years (otherwise Gohan and Videl would still be in school and most definitely NOT married) but the movie gets that right so yeah, it's weird. Just wanted to make it clear that two high schoolers at 16 years old didn't get married as that would be pretty weird lol. Also just so you guys are aware the titles can get pretty spoiler-y later on, so just beware of that. Other than that, looking forward to watching you guys getting more into Super!

Dragon Ball Super was so big that every time a new episode airs on crunchyroll, the website would crash every single time and it was annoying lol I just wanna watch the episode

And I’m not mad at it. Finally got around to it recently because of DnD. On episode 31. Very fun to watch and has a lot of video game potential (for older characters too). Sparking! Zero (lol) better not disappoint. So much unique stuff to pull from. I don’t want to see any bland, generic, repetitive moves. Even kamehameha and the like can be tweaked between characters to make them special and different.

No matter how strong you think Beerus is, trust me: He's stronger than that. I notice that Mr Satan, despite being an essentially normal human in his late forties was able to push back against Goku attempting to push away the briefcase. I have concluded that Mr Satan actually IS the strongest in the universe and is just hiding it.

Cant wait for you guys to see how far these characters will go in this show. The new powers they will gain, lose, etc. And you have been introduced to the first obstacle they will face. Oh boy you guys are in for a doozy.

It was just weirdly phrased, but they meant that it's been 2 months since the world forgot about the Buu apocalypse, and those 2 months have been relatively peaceful.

I think it has mixed opinions because Super made some choices that some people dislike. That and the fact that it definitely has some narrative issues. I personally love Super though

I love this episode so much because it was really an episode of Goku & Goten. Goten is just a smaller version of Goku, they look so adorable together lol & it's reminiscent of how dbz opened with it's first episode. With Goku & Gohan as a baby walking together in nature. This episode highlights how much of a great father Goku is & the family bond between videl, goten, trunks & gohan & even piccolo lol & i've always loved how Videl supports anything Gohan does.

Yea watchmojo did a great list of the top show's that literally broke the internet. I was in shibuya when crunchyroll kept crashing, it got so bad crunchyroll tweeted something like "sorry for the website crashing, too many people watching Dragon Ball Super" lmao

2 years after Buu was the "Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!!" special and this is set two years after that, hence why you know who gets referenced in the Battle of Gods movie.

Right, right. Dang. Goten and Trunks are tiny for 11 and 12 year olds. But so was Goku (even at 15). So nvm. Those Saiyan growth spurts go crazy. Ooh… And now, even Marron is looking a little weird, now. I wished they paid more attention to that. She can’t even talk lol.
