Fun fact: there are actually prostitutes in Fallout 1 & 2. There is no set character for the chosen one or vault dweller, you can create a "custom character" just with stats and a name or there are presets in the early fallouts. Fallouts 3 & everything afterwards allow you to fully customize everything. Vault coty is one of the best places in the wasteland, people can get regular citzenship but they have to do a important task for the council & as mentioned the players task is "taking care" of Gecko(power plant full of ghouls)
