Leonardo Lionheart is based on the cowardly lion from wizard of oz. and is was from that fear that salem was able to turn him to their side.

Something I find really interesting, is about Sienna's character design. Faunus have only a single animal trait, and Sienna has feline ears already. So her tiger stripes aren't part of her Faunus trait, they're tattoos. So, unlike Blake, who keeps her hair long and wears a bow to make it easier to hide her Faunus trait; Sienna not only cropped her hair short to show off both sets of ears, but wears bright earrings and purposefully tattooed her whole body to draw attention to her own animal traits.
