SWE started to really hit their stride around this episode. At this point in the game, about 2 years had gone by and Asuna became one of the top players like Kirito. Her adaption to the world really shows in how she has back and forth with Kirito

Yeah this episode is akin to season 2 of DBZA. S1 was fun but pretty rough. First 4 eps of SAOA were good but unrefined.

I love the relationship between Kirito and Asuna in SAO Abridged. Them both being completely insufferable (him being a psychopath and her being a racist along with other issues) and thus bonding over this fact is such a unique dynamic.
