The book and its story is one of the more divisive topics in the fandom. With some saying it doesnt belong in the fallout universe and others saying the back story fits perfectly

The next video is my opinion one of the saddest and at the same time heartwarming stories of the franchise. I feel that Black isle/Obsidian has better storytelling the in Fallout 1,2, & New Vegas then Bethesda did in 3 and 4. Of course I'll admit I'm a little bias since New Vegas was the first Fallout game I ever played.

Survivalist is one of the best pre-war side characters in the fallout world. Each of the games have there own strength and weaknesses. 4 and New Vegas are my personal favorites.
