I think it was last season but dooku did a raid on there home planet and killed at least 95% of them the people in this episode im pretty sure are just people who were influenced by the Great mothers power. The great mother and the nightsisters are never truly visited again after this episode(there might be a episode in rebels i dont remember) but one of the main characters from the bad batch(Omega) uses a Nightsister bow so there is still hope they might return to the screen someday.

Some context about this episode: Mother Talzin was attempting to garner more power to ultimately oppose Sidious and his Empire so that she could save Darth Maul and get revenge on Sidious. Talzin's physical form was weakened considerably after using her power to restore Maul. Darth Maul is Talzin's biological son who Sidious abducted years ago to raise as his apprentice and this arc eventually coincided with Darth Maul's arc in the novels (it's never animated and it takes place in between this season and the final season that was hinted at when Sidious was torturing Maul). Unfortunately you won't see Talzin ever again in this series because she is slain by General Grievous while fighting both Sidious & Dooku. She chose to sacrifice herself to save Maul so he could escape leading up to the final season. (There's a huge time skip in between this season and the final season). Asajj Ventress's fate and her arcs are also never covered in this series but instead novelized just like Maul's. In between this season and the final season she falls in love with Quinlan Vos (idk if you remember him from a prev season) and sacrifices herself for him after redeeming him from his fall to the Darkside. She is ironically killed by her former master, Count Dooku via Force Lightning. So yeah a lot is skimmed over and never brought to light in between seasons in this series.
