I know Mr Satan has a massive ego and took credit for Cell, but he is a legit champion, without the Z-Fighters, he would be the strongest human on earth. He just happens to be a side character in a show with godlike figures.

Oh yeah that’s anime in a nutshell. They are infamous of somehow stretching everything into long episodes. But luckily you guys choose to watch Kai, cause if you guys where watching the original, we’ll probably still at the beginning of the tournament.

Relax guys lol this is prime old anime. Is gonna take a while. And kai is like the short/kid version. Imagine seeing that videl fight in the original. It is still called one of the biggest anime beatdowns in history for a reason

I don't know if they show it in Kai, since this is the edited down version of your reaction, but yes, in the original, he was eating on Korin's tower. Yeah, Videl's beating is so uncomfortably brutal. I actually forgot how genuinely u likeable Satan is here. Me: "Just be patient, they'll react to that banned by toei scene eventually. Just relax, they do mass recordings, it'll eventually be there. Dont be that pesty commenter, constantly asking where it is." Also me: "I wanna see their reaction to it so bad! Where is it? Which episode is it gonna get tacked on to?" Sorry, just felt like letting that one out. Thoroughly enjoying, especially how ready Bethany is to see Satan get his face kicked in.

Little piece of advice if you continue to be so stuck up and know-it-all you wont have fun for the rest of the show. DB characters always and i mean ALWAYS make dumb decisions or talk trash out their ass. Love yall but some of her comments were really pissing me personally off as your viewer.

True he won the tournament. But the way they've portrayed him on the show is pretty much as a coward now. Earlier while his teenage daughter was taking on bank robbers they showed him huddled up all nervous and sweating watching it on tv and being scared. So we've never really seen Satan do anything cool in the show. Perhaps he did in original anime? 🤔

Now u understand the jokes about dbz taking 30 episodes for one day lol but that's the charm of the show too hehe but there is also a lot of knowledge missing from the western audience and rightfully so. You guys are new to anime ? if i'm correct ? but take into account that this is an old show, ahead of it's time. It's equivalent to watching 80's super hero cartoons. A lot of the stretched out episodes were due to trying to fill air time on Japan tv & in Japan the stress on the animators is intense! The manga books of dbz, which are the japanese comic books, are much shorter than the actual show. Also i reacted to hercule the same way watching this with my brothers as a kid lmao. This episode was heavily edited on tv though. I also was really angry at Gohan for taking sooo damn long to help her but i forgave him quickly because i wanted to marry him. Still do? lmao

We are brand new to anime. This is the first official anime show we have watched (and even so it's the Kai shortened version haha). Dragon Ball Z Abridged was the first anime anything we really watched. 😊
