Another great reaction! I’m so glad you love Ikora as much as I do! She’s honestly such an amazing character, she’s become a lot more involved in the story over the last couple years and she’s honestly amazing! (As a Warlock, I may be biased) Also on Asher, it’s not really explained in game but he’s had a bad time. He and his fireteam went into a vex stronghold but went too deep and were MASSIVELY underprepared. I think his fireteam were killed and he and his ghost were corrupted by the vex, which is killing them slowly, he even says that he’s considered killing his ghost to end her pain but he can’t pull the trigger and kill his oldest friend :( He’s actually good friends with Eris Morn and there stories are quite similar, both tragic but making the best of their situations. He used to annoy the hell out of me when I first played but I’ll admit, he has grown on me over time :) Really looking forward to the rest of your Destiny journey!

Destin’s videos are fine but the I never understand why people recommend them for first time viewers of the destiny story. They doesn’t really have the cinematic feel of the gamers little playgrounds video. Plus destin’s videos were made multiple years after the campaign came out so a lot of things in the world are taken out of context. Yes he does the side content which is important in the grand scheme of things but in the story campaign since that content sort of kills the moment of the story his account t also doesn’t have the veteran dialogue that’s consistent with your journey through the story. I’m still enjoying your reactions.

Hmm. Interesting to know. We kept getting Destin recommendations for the videos and enjoyed them. The fights were over a little fast but at the same time sometimes GLP drags out the fight scenes too much. It’s a tough balance to strike 😅

I'm thinking it's because Destin actually covers the seasonal stories, post game content like Raid dialogue and post campaign missions, so your actually losing a lot of details and story with GLP, especially with Forsaken the post campaign stuff for that is extremely important
