About different Link and Zeldas, there's sort of a multiverse theory, but it's convoluted. They're more like reincarnations of the original Link, Zelda and Demise from Skyward Sword. Smash Wii/3DS uses Twilight Princess Link (descendant of Ocarina of Time Link), Twilight Princess Zelda, and TP Ganondorf (which is Ocarina of Time Ganondorf but older). If you want to know Shiek's true identity, I'm afraid you'll have to play through Ocarina of Time as that's his first appearance.

So Shulk came from Xenoblade Chronicles. A fantastic Nintendo hidden gem JRPG that was released on the Wii in 2011 that didn't get much recognition until Shulk's trailer was announced for Smash Bros. Wii U. The series became popular enough where Nintendo ended up adding a character from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Pyra/Mythra, to the Switch version. Xenoblade Chronicles is a very beautiful and deep game and overall my favorite videogame series. I could honestly gush about the series for hours, but watching the trailers could definitely get you curious about the story and plot if you're interested.

The Story writing of Kid Icarus Uprising is one of the most unexpected, best ones I have seen in a game. Especially in a game that sequels a simple NES game. Levels in the game are filled with conversations like this. While you do fighting, shooting and dodging stuff while playing all the Kid Icarus characters keep bantering along the level with some of the best humor, witty writing and funny, charismatic, memorable characters I have ever encountered. Also there is an unexpected amount of background and lore to be found. If you're more interested in it there is some stuff you can react to like Boss fights/intros, cutscenes or maybe even the whole Conversations during levels. It kinda watches like a movie. There also exist some (3?) promotional cartoon shorts Nintendo once did. I may be wrong about the popularity but I am always happy if people take interest in the modern Kid Icarus game since it is a rather unknown IP and thus may be a bit underrated.

I think you guys should've just watched the smash ultimate video instead of this one because it's the same but just with the newer added characters

Xenoblade is a game that keeps coming up that we get interested in the characters for. So probably a good one for us to check out the trailers at some point 🙂

Thanks for telling us about that. We wouldn't mind learning more about the Kid Icarus world. So maybe some Boss Fights and Intros to start with would be something to dip our toes into...🤔

So in case you do I had a look at available videos for this matter. And I guess I wasn't wrong about the game being less known. There are really few. The ones that stood out was one about "cutscenes" but I think that one is very uncoherent as it really only shows the animated cutscenes without any context whatsoever. Another one called "all bossfights" is actually quite fun to watch. It shows the bosses win and lose cutscenes as well as the boss fight in between in itself with the banter during it. Each individual boss isn't very long, most except 3-4 major story bosses reaching about 3-5 minutes. Thin is, there are a lot of them and so the video has a run time of about 1:26:00. So it would probably best be done in Parts(?). Also the quality is kinda wonky sometimes since it is a 3DS exclusive title, also probably a reason for the small amount of content about it. I'm very excited to see if this or another video will make it into one of your videos at some point in time. But with mentioned problems I can totally understand if they won't. Not to mention that you probably have a unfathomable big potential backlog of stuff people recommended to you. Rightly so, considering your reaction content is one of the best out there, imo. Thank you for your work and interest, thanks to you I have something to look forward to almost every day.
