Just for some context, the characters in this series have superpowers called Quirks. A majority of the population are born with quirks. The top students with strong quirks go to U.A. High School, one of several high schools where students can study to become bro heroes or anything related to keeping the peace against villains or whatnot. I'll list the characters you saw in order. This is a doozy. Heroes Mirio Togata: Phasing through solid objects. Sometimes phases though his clothes by accident. The most likely student to become a pro hero, he is the top student of U.A. Izuku Midoriya (Protagonist): Quirkless, but given the quirk One for All from his teacher, All Might. Grants super strength at a cost of breaking whatever limb was used to attack. Full Cowling 100%: Eventually Midoriya inherited the quirks of his predecessors and masters One for All. (Has his own Death Battle) Katsuki Bakugo: Explosive sweat (and personality). Midoriya's childhood friend/ex-bully/rival/bromancer. Shoto Todoroki: Fire and Ice inherited from his parents, although originally reluctant to use his fire powers which he inherited from his dad because he's a jerk. The scar on the right side of his face was caused by his mother pouring boiling water on his face due to extreme stress and trauma caused by Todoroki's father. (Has his own Death Battle) Ochaco Uraraka: Gravity manipulation for whatever she touches, overuse will make her nauseous. Wants to be a hero to help raise money for her family. (Has a crush on Midoriya) Tenya Iida: Super speed due to the boosters in his legs. A nerdy prefect who idolizes his older brother. Enjiro Kirishima: Body hardening and sharpening. Kind of a dork, but guy who fights for his justice. Denki Kaminari: He controls electricity, overuse will put him in a dopey state. Although, he's already kind of dopey to begin with. Tsuyu Asui: Frog Girl. Enough said. Kyoka Jirou: Very versatile earlobe jacks that can stretch for meters. Whatever those jack get themselves into, she can send the soundwaves of her heartbeat through them into whatever the jacks are in. Her hearing is also enhanced. Loves to play her guitar. Momo Yaoyoruzu: Can make anything from her body as long as she knows the structure and how it works, and as long as she has enough protein in her body. She's pretty rich. Fumikage Tokoyami: His shadow has a mind of its own and can fight for him, too much light will make it shrink and become weaker, too much darkness can make it uncontrolable. Minoru Mineta: Purple sticky balls that he removes from his head that stick to anything, but bounce off him. Removing too many will cause bleeding. He's a huge pervert. Mina Ashido: Pink slug girl with acidic slime. Became A LOT of people's fetishes. Gran Torino: A pro hero. He has increased speed and mobility due to the air pressure he shoots from the soles of his feet. He was also All Might's mentor. Shota Izawa: A pro hero and Midoriya's homeroom teacher, he can render a person immobile as long as he keeps his eyes on them. Constantly needs eyedrops. Those wraps became his weapon of choice. Endeavor: He controls fire obviously, and Todoroki's dad. Number 2 pro hero. He's a jerk cuz he's not number 1, that led to him abusing his wife and even putting her in the hospital. All Might: Has some remaining power left from One for All after giving it to Midoriya. Enhanced strength to SMASH. The quirk is the reason why he looks like that, but in reality he is a frail man with a serious injury that prevents him from being at 100%. Number 1 pro hero, symbol of peace, and Midoriya's mentor/father figure. When he's not being the symbol of peace, he's a teacher at U.A. High School. (Has his own Death Battle) Sir Nighteye: Can see the future of his opponent after touching them and making eye contact, for up to an hour. Very picky about his jokes. A pro hero and ex-sidekick to All Might. Inasa Yoarashi: Student at Shiketsu High School. Has control over wind. Used to be a fanboy of Endeavor, and sees Todoroki as a rival. Camie Utsushimi: Student at Shiketsu High School. She breathes smoke to cast illusionary and auditory illusions while beating down her opponent while they're confused. She's kind of an airhead. Seiji Shishikura: Student at Shiketsu High School. He can manipulate his own flesh. It's pretty gross. Fat Gum: A pro hero. His body fat can absorb shockwaves and impacts of anything that hits him, whether blunt or sharp. He can use the kinetic energy stored up in his fat and become jacked at the cost of his defense. Gang Orca: A pro hero. Orca powers like strength and echolocation. He works better in the water. Tamaki Amajiki: You are what you eat, he gains the power of whatever animal is the meat that he eats. One of the top 3 students of U.A. along with Hando and Togata. Nejire Hando: She can control shockwaves which allow her to do many things, including fly. A bubbly girl whose quirk is strong enough to be compared to pro heroes. One of the top 3 students of U.A. along with Amajiki and Togata. Villains Kai Chisaki: Can disassemble and reassemble anything he touches, INCLUDING people. Ver 2: In addition to his original quirk, he gained the power to manipulate people through communication and can steal their vitality and it gives him that monstrous look. Kendo Rappa: He can rotate his shoulders at super high speeds, allowing him to give his opponents an intense beatdown, but only for a short while, but it's usually enough. Tomura Shigaraki: The ability to Thanos snap anything he touches. Those hands on his body are a reminder of his family he accidently killed when he awakened to his quirk. All for One: Leader of the League of Villains, he is the opposite of One for All. He steals other people's quirks for himself making his victims quirkless. He can use any number of stolen quirks at once. He can distribute those quirks to others for them to do his dirty work. Twice: Can make copies of anything/anyone as long as he gets measurements with his measuring tape, he made many copies of himself but eventually caused himself to have an identity crisis when he couldn't figure out which one was the real one. Himiko Touga: By intaking someone's DNA, usually though blood, she can morph into that person. She is a sadist who was known to drink the blood of her crushes in the past. Stain: Known as the Hero Killer, has the ability to immobilize a person as long as he samples their blood. Blood type affects the length of immobilization where Type B gives the longest duration. Mr. Compress: He can compress anything of whatever size into a small sphere of little weight. Great for storing weapons and hostages. Dabi: Blue fire which is much hotter than red fire. Can fire it from whatever position he's in. But his fire burns away at his own body. Despises Todoroki due to jealousy because his ice quirk is able to regulate his fire quirk and prevent it from burning his body. Muscular: Can manipulate his muscle fibers. Can be used both for offense and defense. Lost his eye in a battle a hero, and was replaced with a prosthetic one. Nomu: Monsters created from human corpses that were made to kill heroes. They are separated into different tiers with different quirks implemented in them.
