I first watched a playthrough of this game years and years ago. After that, I spent months listening to the OST because it's just so beautiful. Love the story too. EDIT : Also, yes, it's very much God of War : Buddhism edition. Well, not just Buddhism, a mix of several Oriental faiths.

Man, I really wish this game could get a remaster/remake. Its cinematic design and set pieces could go crazy with current tech. But it's not anywhere near as popular as Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, etc, so I doubt that'll happen anytime soon

If you're curious about the use of many arms and heads among the deities, many eastern gods are depicted this way to symbolize and emphasize their supernatural abilities. Having more hands and eyes indicates they are able to see and do more at once than humans can. For instance, Avalokiteshvara (the Bodhisattva of Compassion), was said to have a thousand arms to fulfill his commitment of reaching out to every living being and releasing them from suffering.

Now this is a very nice surprise. Another one of Capcom's underrated gems and a game I got into recently myself and enjoyed the hell out of it. Y'all will most definitely enjoy this too.👍👍👍 Also make sure to get the DLC Episodes as well especially the " Episode Pack" and the ".5 Episodes" since those are very important to the story and shows events that happened in between certain Episodes. Definitely save the Lost Episodes for last once you beat the game because they're very special Episodes for a reason that I will not spoil. The descriptions of the DLCs are a bit spoilery on the Xbox store so be careful not to look at the descriptions.

We bought the dlc pack as well. So should have everything, but of course if we miss out on something we can always just watch those online to get the full experience. 🙂 Which we will probably have to do for the true ending because I think I heard/read somewhere that you only get that with S ranking on each level....which will not be happening during our gameplay 😂
