Full Watch Along Reaction to Dragon Ball Super episode 63

Vegeta has such a specific way of showing respect to Goku, it's very satisfying to see him give credit where it's due. And that speech at the end of the episode is one of the best Vegeta arguably gets in all of DBS. Side note, I wish that bullet Mai shoots Black with actually does something, even if it's minor. Imagine how much cooler it would've been to have Black rocking just one eye or something, but then I guess that would've forced them to actually use some blood. It's just weird that they point out "hey this bullet is actually more powerful" only for it to not do anything.

I get that the Supreme Kai wasn't too strong to help out but I still think yall give them too much flak lol. Remember that in the Buu Saga, if Goku, Vegeta and Gohan just did what they were told then Buu would've never appeared cuz Trunks did what Supreme Kai told him to do in his timeline and he stopped Buu with no issue. Plus he was in the front lines doing all he could to help which did have some decent impacts. Now with Gowasu.... yea got nothing there for him lol. I loved this reaction and its always fun seeing Vegeta put people in their place at times and then Trunks doing his dad's techniques was also great!

Dang it my comic book collection Lol

Since Trunks is a hybrid Saiyan, he has more potential than a full blooded Saiyan. Snd in Trunks’ case, he’s capable of much more but because Saiyans get stronger though near death defeat after a battle he hasn’t had all the experience to reach that level.

I think fighting black for over a year straight would give him more than enough near death experiences not to mention his training with Vegeta. Also the whole "Hybrid Saiyans have more potential" always pissed me off a bit as it's obviously a way for the children of Vegeta and Goku to stay relevant with little to no training *ahem* Gohan.

REDE

well it just doesn't make much sense as Goku as a 12 year old with a power level of 10 was able to tank normal bullets easily. Goku Black is incalculably stronger and more durable than kid Goku or even adult Goku for that matter. It would be akin to Thanos being killed with a gun, it just wouldn't do anything.

REDE

If you don't like the Kai's that's fine but honestly it seems more like resentment lol

Yoshitsune92

I think in the manga Black actually let Mai shoot him on purpose but it didn’t do anything at all.

These two are going to be so wrong about the supreme Kai when they get to the best episode of the arc😂 put some respect on Kai’s name

definitelynotdefinitive

Yeah but a good leader is able to convince people to follow orders. 😉Shin failed at that. We get he was thrust into this job because Buu massacred all the other Kais, but that was millions of years ago, right? Feels like after a million years, being new on the job isn't an excuse 😜 Plus it's all in good fun, it's not like we hate the Kais, just enjoy making fun of them 🤗

Austin Jones

You think Goku or Vegeta are gonna listen to anyone lol cuz they shown that they don't so I dont blame Shin for not convincing them cuz they are stubborn. Either way I get ya and that it's all in good fun 😁 just my 2 cents.

definitelynotdefinitive

They are stubborn fools, but they are our stubborn fools and we love em haha. Always appreciate different opinions and thoughts on this. The discussion makes it fun! 🥳🥳

Gus

It's hilarious. The kais honestly deserve it

REDE

They are just victims of the writers not feeling like utilizing any of the Kais in a useful manner. Supreme kais can teleport anywhere, heal people, spawn in any material in the universe, etc. they have more than enough abilities to provide a good support they just aren't given any meaningful screen time.

REDE

fair enough, however you can definitely feel resentment towards fictional characters just like characters in a movie. Homelander is a prime example or Zamasu himself.

I get the whole, even how evil they are they can be saved, cliche is always stupid, but that's literally how every lawfully good person is. Take Spider-Man, he's always trying to see the best in every one of his villians, and they come through. Batman is the same way, he's always trying to see the good in everyone of his villians, and surprising they also come through. Anime do their heroes and very good doers differently than us in the West. Sasuke literally tried to kill everyone closes to him, became an international terrorist, and yet he redeemed himself and is living a very happy life alongside his friends. I will give you that the Kais almost literally do nothing, but they always pull through when needed most.

Not the knock Vegeta, love the dude but it always seems like his best speeches are when he's hyping up Goku lol I mean shit let's face it, Vegeta is Goku's best hype man.
