Saint-14 is who he's always been since his resurrection. Exo Guardians are reborn inherently knowing which iteration of themselves they are (and possibly even their names) while forgetting everything else about themselves. Very few, if any, consider their non-true-deaths as guardians to count against their iteration, so the Saint-14 that was awoken by a Ghost centuries ago is the same one who met the Eliksni/Fallen when they came to Earth, and the same one we see today. A little tidbit you might not have caught is that the Eliksni symbol from part 1 (purple eye-looking thing, Eido said they tell their hatchlings its a ward against Guardians) is actually a drawing of Saint's helmet. That's how much he terrified the Eliksni who weren't combatants. One of the lore books that came with the season is "Achilles Weaves a Cocoon". One of my favorites from the whole franchise, it tells of a seemingly innocuous Eliksni who joins Mithrax's house and struggles to find his place in house hierarchy and among his new human neighbors. https://www.ishtar-collective.net/categories/book-achilles-weaves-a-cocoon

His name is actually Misraaks-Kell. He and Caiatl have been my favorite additions to the cast. Don't worry, you'll more of them in the future. By the time you finish this season, we, the players, will have beaten The Final Shape campaign ending a long 10 year journey. Well, the game will keep going and of course there's the raid and then the aftermath. Spoilers probably won't make any sense to you, but I would avoid Destiny 2 news on social media.

So this season has some of my favorite lore and is my favorite season of the Beyond Light Era. There's a lore tab for a seasonal pulse that talks about the effects of the endless night where a father wakes and hallucinates seeing an eliksni and almost shoots his son as a result. There's another tab that talks about amanda holiday working with another eliksni engineer named Niik and the two are bonding over their love of working on machines and engineering in the hanger. After talking some more, Amanda says a sarcastic phrase about the spider which will lead to tragedy later as sarcasm isn't really a thing in their culture or is poorly understood. Another tab talks about an eliknsi with a vanguard lanyard that says "temporary enjoying some spicy ramen at Cayde's favorite ramen shop and people are actually intrigued and are slightly uplifted to see that they enjoyed it. Unfortunately, this eliksni said the same phrase that Amanda used to describe the spider and people are left horrified at what they said. Another one describes a child waking up to see their parents getting rid of some metal plates with blue liquids staining them and a lanyard that says "temporary" and they tell their child that they fallen are to blame for the endless night and killed an eliksni, the same one that enjoyed the ramen in the previous lore tab. Later, that dead eliksni's brother named Vriiksis, is desparately looking for his brother and is almost killed by a crowd of people until they are stopped by a hunter named Aisha who is a recurring guardian in lore and is using stasis. Even though she helped him and cleared out the crowd, Vriiksis knows all too well about Eramis and what it did to her and told her that her mind was poisoned like Eramis' and promptly leaves before Aisha can even escort him safely back to his people's quarters. There's also one where crow stops a group of people from destroying parts of the eliksni camp which was pretty nice to read as well. There are so many good lore moments that I can't discuss them all, but these are some of the ones that stuck out.
