Morgan Elsbeth will show up again in the Mandalorian Series, this is a prequal of how she gets there. Admiral Thrawn will show up again in Rebels, and both of them are important characters in the Ahsoka show. You can see the tales episodes again before the Mandalorian episode called "Jedi" and then get a better understanding of the story.
