Death battle really low balled Aizen in my opinion and the bleach universe,Aizen is highly intelligent and can adapt to different situations which means he has a plan for nearly anything even when things may not seem to be stacked in his favor,most bleach characters are stronger than Naruto characters for the fact that bleach characters operate on a spiritual plane while Naruto characters don't and Aizen has the Hogyokyu which literally makes him change and evolve to a perfect stronger being each time he's injured or near death and he's literally incapable of dying and caused multiple dimensions to shake, he's also immune to Madara's illusions like genjutsu because they operate on chakra which doesn't exist in other fictional universes and Aizen has a similar ability called kyoka suigetsu that can nullify it.

Yeah this battle can be a bit confusing cause of all the illusions these characters create. I haven’t seen either series but it was fun still. A lot of people still debate this battle to this day. Some people say DB was right, others says they are horribly wrong, etc. But I guess that’s part of the fun, wondering wether they are right or wrong. To bad they will never get a definitive answer unless both authors agree to it, which is unlikely to happen.
