The other new job alongside Viper is Pictomancer! The job trailer or introduction for that should be out as well if you're keen on checking it out. And pineapple guy definitely earned that drink, as do all the characters that show up here lol.

I always pop back to the game for new content. As for what are jobs are in FF14. It's same as your character's class (Warrior, Mage, Hunter, and so on.) in other RPGs. Unlike most other MMORPGs like WoW, where when you make your character choose one class and that it for that character. In FF14 when you make your character and choose their starting Job. Once you hit level 10 in that job and do the Job's story quest for that the level, you can than learn the other jobs as well. So you only need one character in FF14 to play all the job/classes in that games, Switching between them when ever you want too. Which is cause FF14 plays more like a single play game, than a MMO. There the Main Quest Line, Side Quests and each job also have it's own story questline as well. So if you want to see the other jobs story questlines, you can without needing to make and level a insane number of characters. Since atm there are 20 combat jobs and 11 crafter/gathering ones, which three new combat jobs ones in Dawntrail. :P You mention you already played FF7, so think of FF14 like that, but you only control a single character, not a full party. And for the big boss fights in FF14 that when you team up with others. But they are updating it so you can run the dungeons and Boss fights with NPCs groups as well. The the free trail now go up to L70 now, so you can play a good part of the story for free. Thanks for giving us more info on the jobs. That's cool that you can do so much with just your main character and a single playthrough instead of having to build up multiple characters 😀
